Local rare breed and native produce raised sustainably in a small low-impact nature friendly farm. We take pride in producing some of the best tasting beef, lamb hogget, pork and eggs you will find while caring for our animals.
Our Shetland Cattle mature slowly on a pure grass-fed diet living as a natural herd and helping out with a bit of conservation grazing along the way.
Our Jacob and Castlemilk Moorit sheep are pedigree native breeds that are grass fed (with the occasional treat in a bucket to train them). The hogget (year old lamb) is much more succulent, less fatty and is arguably tastier than commercial lamb. We have many converts to hogget.
Our chickens are free-range on the farm or live in outside covered areas if they are in lockdown. We try and deliver the eggs daily to your door so they are the freshest tastiest eggs you will have had in a while. The cockerels and hens are mix of landrace and rare breeds that produce eggs and meat so nothing goes to waste.
